The Chicago Bears promoted Tyler Bray from the practice squad on Saturday and he will serve as the backup quarterback to Chase Daniel for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders in London.
Bray, 27, is in second season in the Chicago organization and has spent most of that time on the practice squad. Allen was injured in the third quarter of last Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots when he absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit. The Packers needed help in the backfield for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys due to the absence of Jamaal Williams .
