The 2026 NFL Draft is three months away. Which players will go at the top?
fight for a spot in the Super Bowl next Sunday, the remaining 28 NFL teams will dive into their offseason plans, assessing what needs to be done to reach that stage next year. For most teams, the key to getting there will be putting together a good draft class.
The four teams that won this weekend have drafted well recently.Mendoza could turn around the Raiders. In his lone season with the Hoosiers, he amassed 3,349 passing yards and 41 touchdowns, proving he has the talent to be a top-tier NFL starter.As a rookie, Downs could become one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. He is highly instinctual and physical, excels in open-field tackling and possesses elite coverage skills. This season, he recorded 68 tackles, two interceptions and forced two fumbles. Arizona needs to create a strong foundation for its next franchise quarterback. Solidifying the right side of the offensive line with Fano would be an important step in that direction.Bain is an extremely talented edge rusher, though many knock him for his short arms and unusual build . He may not look like the perfect prospect, but he’s the biggest game-wrecker in the draft. He drives offensive linemen back with powerful hands, moves quicker than most 270-pound defensive linemen and is always around the football.But if he stays healthy in the NFL, Tyson could be a dynamic No. 1 wide receiver. He would form one of the league’s best wide receiver duos with Giants starAt 6-2, 200 pounds, Tyson is an explosive target who consistently gets open. He recorded 61 catches for 711 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025. While the Browns have many offensive needs, the better choice is pairing Reese with superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett. In his lone season as a Buckeyes’ starter, Reese recorded 6.5 sacks. The Ohio State standout also has the tools to develop into a stud linebacker.Bailey was one of the nation’s most productive pass rushers this past season, recording 14.5 sacks and forcing three fumbles. He possesses a nasty spin move, turns the corner with great speed and has an advanced pass-rush plan.Tate has strong hands, excellent body control, runs clean routes and has above-average speed. This season, he amassed 51 catches for 875 yards and nine touchdowns. Kansas City needs to surround quarterback Patrick Mahomes with more weapons. Love could take the team’s run game to the next level. As a runner, he has quick feet, strong contact balance and sharp vision. He’s a dangerous pass catcher, too.Jeremiyah Love and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Stanford Cardinal today. This game is available on multiple streaming services for free. Styles would shore up the middle of Cincinnati’s defense. He has the size , speed and range that teams covet. In his last season with the Buckeyes, he amassed 83 tackles and missed just one attempt. He wins over the middle with nimble route running, consistently runs through tackles to extend plays and makes difficult catches. If he was bigger than 5-11, 195 pounds, Lemon may be considered the best wideout in the draft. This past season, he racked up 79 catches for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns.Dallas’ defensive line needs to be rejuvenated, and Faulk could help them accomplish that. The 6-6, 285-pound edge rusher is better as a run defender at this point, but he still has immense pass-rush upside.Delane would fit Los Angeles’ zone-heavy scheme. He has top-notch movement skills, has a knack for breaking up passes and stays disciplined in coverage.Mauigoa could upgrade Baltimore’s weak offensive line. He uses his 6-5, 335-pound frame to push opponents around in the run game.Sadiq is an explosive athlete who poses a vertical threat and dominates in the red zone. He caught eight touchdowns in 2025. He’s entering the league as a three-year college starter, who has good production and talent.The 6-0, 193-pound cornerback recorded four interceptions and seven pass break ups in 2024. One of his best plays came against Alabama last season, when he locked up freshman sensation Ryan Williams in the back corner of the end zone and high-pointed the ball for an interception.Terrell could be the solution to Minnesota’s secondary issues. He compensates for his lack of size with his quick feet, feistiness and playmaking ability. Over the last two years, he has forced eight fumbles.Boston, who is 6-4, 209 pounds, would elevate the Panthers’ wide receiver room. He moves well for someone his size, recording 62 catches for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns this year.The Cowboys could take another swing on a pass rusher to remake their defensive line. Howell is an undersized edge who wins with speed. He racked up 11.5 sacks this past season and 9.5 sacks two years ago.Parker’s sack total dropped from 11 in 2024 to five in 2025, but he still projects as a solid NFL pass rusher.. He brings an explosive element to the Eagles’ offense that was absent this past season. He’s also a crisp route runner and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He finished the season with 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns. Lomu has all the physical tools to develop into a reliable starting tackle with a bit of seasoning. He would help Cleveland’s aging offensive line get younger.Banks returned late in the season after missing most of the year with a foot injury. At 6-6, 330 pounds, he has strong hands and gets up field quickly. He could anchor Chicago’s interior defensive line as a rookie.Allen could provide Buffalo with more consistency at linebacker. He finished the year with 88 tackles, 3.5 sacks and forced two fumbles.San Francisco’s run defense got exposed in the team’s playoff loss to the Seahawks. McDonald would make them tougher up front with his physical, run-stuffing ability. Houston’s offense is in a tough spot because quarterback C.J. Stroud has regressed, but improving his protection could help him get back on track. Proctor could start at right tackle or move inside to guard.37-year-old Matthew Stafford is playing the best football of his career, but the veteran quarterback may only have a few years left. Los Angeles could find his successor in Simpson, who threw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns in his lone season as the Crimson Tide’s starter.Miller would strengthen Denver’s already elite run defense, which ranked second in the NFL this season.
