Norfolk State has already interviewed Michael Vick to be the school's next head football coach.
Fresh on the heels of six-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick following in the footsteps of Hall-of-Famer and heading back to college to coach a less-than-powerful program, another legendary NFL figure is reportedly considering manning the sidelines for an NCAA football team.
Reaching a positive resolution with Vick would be beneficial to Norfolk State as the school has been looking for a new coach since firing Dawson Odums in November after he compiled a 15-31 record during his four years with the Spartans.'We are diligently working to provide the best candidate to our student-athletes, our fan base, and most importantly, to Norfolk State University,' the school said in a statement to The Pilot on Friday.
