Fox cut into the final 96 seconds of Sunday's matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Cleveland Browns, sending most of the country elsewhere.

Fans of the 49ers may have wished they hadn’t watched the end of Sunday’s 19-17 loss to the Browns. But most football fans across the country didn’t get to see the final 96 seconds of the game — whether they wanted to or not. The matchup in Cleveland ran so long that viewers in most markets outside of the Bay Area and Cleveland left the Fox telecast with 1:36 left in the game.
