He’s still a bit of a mystery from a projection standpoint after playing just two games this fall, but a team in need of a high-level seam-stretcher could fall in love with his game. As a blocker, he won’t displace defenders yards away from the football, but his technique and knack for playing with leverage show up consistently on film.
An above-average athlete that can align next to the tackle or outside to the boundary, Kraft can run any route in the book and is aggressive after the catch. As a blocker, he needs work at the point of attack, but his playmaking ability with the ball in the air will force an offense to pump him with targets.I love the way Strange competes in both the ground game and when asked to separate inside the tight confines of the second level.
No one will ask him to align next to the tackle and relocate the 5-tech, but if I’m a team in need of a tier-one athlete that will be an electric threat inside the red zone from the onset of his career, Kuntz is the guy. His ceiling is as lofty as any tight end in the draft class due to his herculean athletic profile.
Schoonmaker was hidden inside a deep tight end room that was utilized mainly as further extensions of the offensive line. Moving up a level should allow him to blossom as a flex weapon.A big boy that can move, Barker was a standout at the Shrine Bowl and should present a team with an intriguing TE2 option early in his career. He’s excellent in finding voided spaces in zone and a hoss to bring down in open space at full speed.
