James Gunn announced on social media that the full Supergirl trailer will be released on Tuesday, March 31, while also including a teaser of what is being released. Check it out below. The teaser for the full Supergirl trailer leans more into the space adventure, as the film is adapting the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series from Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The release of the next trailer is coming nearly four months after the first footage was unveiled in December 2025. What Might The Supergirl Trailer Reveal? As the first Supergirl teaser gave a taste of Kara's journey thus far, it wouldn't be shocking if the full trailer puts more highlights on the action beats, as well as beginning to flesh out who Krypton's last daughter is beyond being a superhero. It has been previously confirmed that the deeper history of the House of El will be tackled in Milly Alcock's solo film, which could very well be another focus in the upcoming footage. Another big player who is making his debut in DCU's Chapter 1:"Gods and Monsters" will be Lobo, as Jason Momoa is trading in his Aquaman suit to bring the iconic bounty hunter to life on the big screen. While audience members have been able to get glimpses of him in later footage that was released, the full trailer may finally see Momoa's character crossing paths with Alcock's Girl of Steel. While he had only a brief appearance in the first trailer, Matthias Schoenaerts, who is part of the Supergirl cast as Krem of the Yellow Hills, will ideally also have more shown of his villain in the new trailer. Even though people who read the original comic knows what Krem's motivations are, the DCU has yet to flesh that out with the big screen iteration.
