A couple of UDFAs are making noise at Seahawks training camp.
The Seattle Seahawks completed their 12th practice of 2024 training camp. There are two public practices set for this week before the team heads to Inglewood for its preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. Tuesday’s practice might have been off-limits to the general public, but there were still special guests in attendance at VMAC. As part of a longstanding partnership between the Seahawks and USAA, invited service members from the 313th Airlift Squadron U.S.
As beginning to make an impression George Holani has put himself firmly in the mix for the third running back spot, with Kenny McIntosh and Kobe Lewis also competing. On defense, the standout name on Tuesday was cornerback Carlton Johnson out of Fresno State. From Smith’s recap: Given the depth of the cornerback room, Johnson has an uphill battle to make the roster, but he could be someone Seattle will look to stash on the practice squad.
