Already a subscriber?Rupert Murdoch has quashed plans to return to Australia for the first time in almost six years, meaning he will not be in the country to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the national broadsheet he founded,A source close to the Murdoch family declined to give reasons for the decision, which comes days after the 93-year-oldhas slated six weeks of coverage to celebrate the paper’s anniversary, which will culminate in a dinner on July 25.
