A one-day-old baby boy with still uncut umbilical cord and placed in a garbage bag was found by a resident here on Wednesday morning, Nov. 16, in Barangay Gomez in this town.

LOPEZ, Quezon —

Lopez police said that the baby was found by Rosa Fe Ausa, 32, a resident of the same barangay. She found the baby at around 6:20 a.m. Ausa told the police that she heard a crying baby not so far away, prompting her to search the place.
