“The city’s going to put in more drainage on the street; there are some other things South Orange is going to do; that Seton Hall University’s going to do,” Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said of the plan, referring specifically to Woodbine Avenue, an east-west street that terminates at a Seton Hall campus gate and sees some of the area’s worst flooding. “I think all of the things that we do, collectively, is going to mitigate this problem.
