Nottinghamshire Police says detectives are 'working around the clock' and will 'uncover exactly what's happened'.
Four more boys - including a 12-year-old - have been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in Nottinghamshire. Police received a report that a teenage girl had been attacked in the early evening of 25 May on Yorke Drive playing fields in Newark. Four boys - aged 12, 13, and two aged 14 - have all been arrested on suspicion of rape, Nottinghamshire Police said. They have since been released on bail with strict conditions.
Several people have helped the force with its inquiries and the 'investigation is continuing to move at pace', said Detective Inspector Amy Revill. She added: 'I want to again appeal to the local community and anyone who may have any information to please get in touch with us. 'We have made a further four arrests in this case.' The girl and her family are being supported by specially trained officers.
