New Zealand politicians, including prime minister Jacinda Ardern, hit back against President Trump’s claims that their country’s new coronavirus outbreak is out of control by pointing out that the U.S. is still seeing “tens of thousands” of new cases reported daily, seeming to poke a hole in Trump’s attempts to deflect attention from the U.S. leading the world in cases and deaths.
