Nex Level Behavioral Health and Addiction Services will open a youth peer center in Olde Towne East in the fall to help keep kids away from crime. The after-school program, beginning in November, will offer counseling, communication, and life skills training to address challenges in their community.

"Without having another option, they only know one way to go," said Dr Joi Jones, founder of Nex Level Behavioral Health and Addiction Services. "We are getting them off the streets, and away from crime, and away from the environment that they are in," said Dr. Jones.
