A Texas school is teaming up with a welding academy, allowing students to become certified in just two semesters.state sparked criticism with a Facebook post showing three students standing behind a dirty snowman with a caption reading,"just as diverse as our students!"
But the school district didn't leave just leave things there. The post continued to say the snowman, spotted with dirt and mud, is"just as diverse as our students!""I don’t want to be compared to a dirty snowman , a snowman w mud=a black , ethnic , diverse snowman & that’s not weird to you?" one user commented under the image re-posted by someone else.
"So let me start by saying that just absolutely disgusting and on so many levels and I'm still confused as to why people are laughing because this is not funny by any means such racist overtures and they're not even hiding it and they're using a school platform to display it is even more disgusting," wrote another.
