Halloween came early to “Live” on Wednesday as Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos unveiled New York state’s biggest pumpkin.

“I mean, this pumpkin is my best friend,” Ripa exclaimed as she cuddled up to the supersized squash, which was almost as tall as the 5′ 2″ host herself.“She’s so big, I would think plutonium,” Ripa quipped.His prize-winning pumpkin was subsequently transported down to Manhattan, where it was wheeled into the “Live” studio via a forklift late Tuesday for its on-air unveiling.

Andrusz has previously appeared on “Live” with other fruits and vegetables grown at his upstate farm — and the gigantic pumpkin that appeared on Wednesday’s show isn’t the first to win a prize.
