"This individual struck a 25-year-old pregnant female victim in the head and stomach before fleeing," police noted on X, which is the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.also shared the photo and said the suspect attacked the woman by hitting her with a cellphone. "The victim was aboard a 7 train when she was bumped into by an individual. The individual & victim de-trained @ 74 St where the unk individual assaulted her striking the victim in the head with her cellphone," Crime Stoppers wrote.

Several X users expressed that the subway in New York isn't safe and suggested police beef up security. "NYC Subways are not safe, it’s getting worse by the day. They need to have more officers in stations and on the trains.
