Nabers suffered a concussion against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.
The New York Giants have seemingly found their next superstar wide receiver out of LSU in Malik Nabers, but they will not have his services this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Nabers, who suffered a concussion while trying to catch a 4th down pass late in the Giants’ Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, did not practice this week and has been ruled out by head coach Brian Daboll. This will be the first missed game of Nabers’ young career.
Nabers isn’t just “good for a rookie,” he’s been one of the top receivers in the entire NFL through the early part of the season. With 35 catches and 386 yards, Nabers leads the league in receptions and is tied with Chris Godwin for receiving yards, all while being the most targeted player by a substantial margin. If you subtract all of Nabers’ targets, Daniel Jones is 56/92 for 495 yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions.
