Anglim/Trimble, a gallery in San Francisco’s Dogpatch, features new exhibit from the Big Apple.
But George Adams Gallery in New York has long been a champion of Bay Area artists, having represented them in the Big Apple since 1980. The gallery currently represents the art estates of late Bay Area legends Robert Arneson, Elmer Bischoff and Joan Brown, as well as several contemporary Bay Area artists.
Between Wednesday and Saturday, Anglim/Trimble will host a preview of local contemporary artist Craig Calderwood’s latest mixed-media paintings, before the show goes to New York. Gallery owner George Adams called the work both original and equally challenging in terms of the use of material, color and just putting it all out there.”

“Bischoff was a senior statesman of the Bay Area,” Adams said. “He grew up in Berkeley and died in Berkeley.”
