A New York couple spoke out for the first time after they found their 2-year-old twin boys unresponsive the morning of Sept. 30 in the upstairs bedroom of their

"We gave our kids bottles said I love you, like we usually do. If we knew that was the last moment, that we were going to bed and he wasn't going to be here, we would have stayed up all night.
"What can I say?" asked Taylor Jones, the mother of the twins. "They were just happy babies. Their personalities...he was bright."according to Lt. Dean Tuthill from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. "He had a smile that illuminated the room," Anthony said of his son. "We just miss him a lot and wish his last moments were longer."
His twin brother was initially hospitalized in guarded condition, but was released and is now recovering at home with his family."They had suffered from seizures a lot, and that mainly had to do with them being born early, because they were born very premature, said Jones."We’re just trying to get our minds off everything and still trying to be strong for our other three, but it literally feels impossible," she said. "It feels like I'm living in a parallel universe.
The young couple, who are both still in college, said they are trying to keep their three children busy while the family adjusts to the loss of one of the twins.
