"It's a humanitarian crisis, and we need to treat them like human beings. Here's a father with a baby in his arms, and he's just trying to get to Portland, Oregon," said Garcia.Garcia says part of the reason LULAC was in Eagle Pass Sunday was to inform migrants of their civil rights and protections against boarding buses under false and misleading inducements of non-existent jobs and help in distant locations.Abbott has disputed those claims.
