In case there are messages you prefer not to disappear. 😅 WhatsApp TechNave

Sometimes, it's funny to see how an app's feature derives another. WhatsApp's Disappearing Messages is a useful features for some people, as it provides security to sensitive info or discussions. But what if you wanted to prevent some messages from disappearing?

Well, WhatsApp started working on the solution last year. The idea was to allow users to select or star messages, marking them as messages to be kept from deletion. Originally called"Kept Messages", the feature has now officially launched as"Keep in Chat". This feature does exactly what it says on the tin - keep messages in the chat room.

Specifically, all users in a chat can mark a messages they want to keep. Doing so notifies the original sender, who can decide whether to allow the message to remain or be deleted eventually via Disappearing Messages. All saved messages are marked by a bookmark icon, and can be found in the Kept Messages folder for future reference.

So, who would use this? If you have a chat room for confidential business, it's great to have the option of clearing away the clutter and only keeping what's important. But what do you think, is there another feature you'd like to see on WhatsApp? Share your thoughts in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
