Out of our hands and heading into yours.” The announcement comes around a week before The Boys Season 5 premiere on April 8, highlighting the intense timeline involved in completing a large-scale superhero series. Kripke reflected personally on the milestone, writing, “It’s funny, it never truly hit me that the show was over, I never got emotional when the people around me did, because there was always something to work on. Until this morning. I drove away with a lump in my throat.”Kripke also used the post to express gratitude toward everyone involved in the production. “This was the best professional experience of my life. I’m sad it’s over and so glad it happened. My deepest love and thanks to the cast, crew and fans who loved the show like I loved the show,” he penned.
