New Study Finds America's 'Most Fun' Cities, But What About the Cheapest?

A new study from WalletHub analyzes 182 cities across America and ranked them for various factors to find the 'most fun,' including cost.

A new report evaluated cities across the United States to create a ranking of the 'most fun' ones in the country, including the best cities for restaurants, walking and other activities – at a cost.Produced by WalletHub, the list predictably includes very tourist-heavy destinations, such as Las Vegas and cities in Miami. Chip Lupo, an analyst for WalletHub, stressed that the cities on the list 'are far more than tourist traps.

Florida notched six cities in the top 50, which is more than any other state. Texas notched four cities in the top 50, tied with California.For a pure nightlight experience, the top 10 remains unchanged. When ranked for entertainment and recreation, Honolulu, San Diego, and Tampa sneak into the top 10.For festivals per capita, Honolulu, Tampa, San Francisco, New Orleans and Miami are all tied first. For restaurants, Miami, Las Vegas, Orlando, San Francisco and Chicago are tied first.
