KUALA LUMPUR: Schools will start on Jan 20 next year instead of the usual first week of January, Education Minister Radzi Md Jidin said.The year-end school holidays for this year had orginally been shortened from the end of November to Dec 18 and Dec 31, depending on the state.
This is to help teachers to complete the syllabus after schools closed for almost four months because of the movement control order.
