A Porsche 911 GT3 RS came to a soggy end in Washington state, after crashing into a river
A Porsche 911 GT3 RS ended up in the Snoqualmie River in Washington State after crashing off the road. Photos of the recovery effort show that the Porsche suffered significant damage during its aquatic misadventure. Reports indicate that the driver suffered an injury to the head, but made it out of the incident alive. Realizing you're no longer in control of the car you're driving is one of the worst feelings imaginable.
Fortunately, one of the photographers, Jason Rich, reports that the driver was okay, despite receiving a blow to the head. Based on what the track-focused special looked like once it had been extracted from the river, the driver was lucky to make it out alive. From dry land, we can see that the Porsche suffered significant damage at the front, losing its driver-side wheel and fender.
