The free-entry live music event will take place in Manchester city centre this October
A new global music conference backed by New Order has announced that a 'groundbreaking' day of free-entry live music will take place in Manchester City Centre in October.
The line-up for the free event includes Better Joy, Bulgarian Cartrader, CLT DRP, Collective Rejects, Conor Micheal and the Greenskeepers and CRUUSH. They'll be joined by the likes of Eevah, Frankie Beetlestone, Girlband, GOMID and Hang Linton, amongst others. "Thanks to Lush we’re able to make new music discovery something everyone can take part in, joining us on our mission in supporting grass root venues, new artists and the local music ecosystem.”
In July, the three-day event also confirmed would see the likes of SXSW, NQ Legacy, Nice Swan Records, School Night and more host curated takeovers at venues including Night & Day Café, Band On The Wall, Gullivers and The Castle Hotel. Beyond the Music’s 'Discovered' line-up features artists including Cooper T, Luke Royalty, Natalie Shay, Moreish Idols, and Freddy Gillmore.
Meanwhile, BBC Introducing has confirmed the return of its highly anticipated, flagship music discovery event – BBC Introducing Live – with a new format to support even more young musicians, creatives, and industry talent across the UK. They'll be curating a panel about UK music’s talent pipeline and the development of new artists and there will be a day of live music at the iconic Band on the Wall.
