Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock come face to face in new Daredevil: Born Again footage as the Marvel Cinematic Universe show gets ready to premiere in March. As the Marvel-Netflix shows have finally become canon to the overall MCU franchise, Phase 5 is about to dive into one of the best dynamics from that era in Daredevil: Born Again, featuring the titular hero and Kingpin at odds once again.
With only two weeks left to go, the marketing for Daredevil: Born Again is ramping up, with fans getting more glimpses of the series. As Daredevil: Born Again is getting closer to its big launch on Disney+, Marvel Studios has debuted a new clip from the Phase 5 series, showing Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio back as Matt and Kingpin. In the footage, as seen below, the two rivals are reminiscing about their long-time conflict while also reflecting on where they are today. Even if it's not shown, the references to their long history just highlight how far Daredevil and Kingpin have come in terms of their rivalry. But what is also exciting is the fact that the power dynamic has severely changed, with Fisk having decided to run for mayor of New York, which is bound to complicate things in the Daredevil: Born Again story. Since Kingpin knows who Daredevil really is, Matt is in a tougher position than before, especially with Fisk having the support of the people. Given that Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is already happening, this will likely be a story that gets to be properly fleshed out and explored throughout the show's run.
