A new Night Court behind-the-scenes video makes fans miss The Big Bang Theory's Bernadette as Melissa Rauch continues her new sitcom stint on NBC.
As Melissa Rauch continues her new role as Abby Stone in the NBC revival, a new Night Court behind-the-scenes video makes fans miss her old character as The Big Bang Theory's Bernadette. Before spearheading the reboot of the popular '80s courtroom comedy, Rauch made a name for herself in the sitcom world as Howard's love interest in the nerd-centric sitcom, joining it in season 4 and becoming a mainstay until it ended in 2019.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a new behind-the-scenes video from Night Court, Rauch is seen flipping a table, reminding fans of her stint as The Big Bang Theory's Bernadette. Watch the clip below: In the comment section, fans of The Big Bang Theory didn't miss the opportunity to point out how Rauch is acting like Berndatte. For context, despite Howard's wife's size, she can be scarily aggressive, especially when she's provoked – like how the actress appears to be in the above clip.
According to Rauch, she thinks it's still too early to even consider a The Big Bang Theory revival, citing the way the series ended as a deterrent to the idea. Despite an uneven final season, CBS was able to stage the perfect send-off for the Pasadena gang, with exciting developments such as Penny and Leonard being pregnant with their first kid, and Sheldon and Amy winning the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work on Super Asymmetry.
Despite this, Rauch isn't opposed to doing a The Big Bang Theory reunion in the near future. Formatted like Friends' HBO Max special, it would simply gather the main cast as they reminisce on their time on the show. As exciting as it is, it doesn't mean that Rauch will play Bernadette again, however. So, for now, she will continue to be Night Court's Abby Stone.
