New Leeds Wetherspoon pub announced with 60 new jobs
Fans of the national pub chain J D Wetherspoon will be delighted to learn it's announced plans to open a new venue in Leeds, with £2.25 million set to be invested for developing the site.
This comes after the Italian restaurant announced it was shutting down due to the rising energy costs after 13 years of operating. The pub chain giant hopes to complete the transaction by early October, with the creation of between 50 to 60 jobs.A Wetherspoon spokesperson said: "Wetherspoon can confirm it has exchanged contracts to purchase Sant’ Angelo in High Street, Wetherby.
