New home renovation works can begin from Monday with BCA's approval via yahoosg
SINGAPORE — From Monday , all new home renovation works, as well as previously-suspended renovation works for non-residential premises, can begin after approval from the Building and Construction Authority .
From Monday, companies who wish to start new home renovation works, or resume work for non-residential premises , should submit applications to BCA if they employ construction work permit and S-Pass holders. Compliance with COVID-safe criteriaCompanies performing renovation works must comply with BCA’s COVID-safe workforce and COVID-safe worker accommodation and transport criteria, as well as Ministry of Manpower’s safe management measures at workplaces.
All construction workers who are work permit or S-Pass holders will subsequently need to undergo regular COVID-19 testing after they start work.
