Under the bill, districts would be encouraged to consider exceptions to the policies when an educator is using devices as part of a lesson plan. The guidelines would not be permitted to ban students from using devices to support their learning, though. Gov. Ayotte said in her inaugural address public schools are “not working” for every child, noting the state needs to listen to teachers like her husband, Joe Daley.
