There are many places now deemed a gun-free zone for those who have a concealed carry permit – they include restaurants, bars, libraries, public transportation, entertainment venues, houses of worship, public demonstrations
and Times Square in New York City.In addition, anyone looking to get a concealed carry permit will now have to go through a more extensive training process, background checks and permits need to be renewed every three years.
