New glow-in-the-dark playground, Joya, set to open in Farmers Branch this summer

The park will feature an 18,000 square-foot main playground decorated with LED lights, as well as swings, an obstacle course and zip line.

Initial renderings for the park also depict a 27-foot sphere with six levels of climbing, additional swings and slides — recommended for children over the age of 6.

The area will also include a 7,000-square-foot tot playground for children ages 2 to 5, featuring a natural sensory play area and glow-up seating area.
