New film rating system to take effect on Feb 1
Home Affairs Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has announced changes to the existing film classification system that will take effect on February 1. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 16, 2023.
THE Film Censorship Board of Malaysia will be introducing two new ratings while removing the parental guidance requirement for the “P13” category. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
