A new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves image hypes a ridiculous yet deadly enemy. Based on the fantasy tabletop role-playing game of the same name, the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis as its main adventuring party. The film adaptation, which is from Game Night duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, is hoping to strike the perfect balance between action and comedy.

See the new image below: The Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves image shows some of the movie's main adventuring party – Pine's Edgin the Bard, Rodriguez's Holga the Barbarian, Smith's Simon the Sorcerer, and Lillis' Doric the Druid – encountering a ridiculous but deadly enemy known as the gelatinous cube, which is very much in line with the tone of the movie.
The new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves image shows off one of the fantasy world's most bizarre monsters, which has also been glimpsed before in trailers. The gelatinous cube is a giant gluttonous glob of ooze that mindlessly engulfs everything in its path. While the movie's version of the killer cube may not be an exact adaptation from the game, it still maintains the game's goofy tone which Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is fully embracing.
Other than the gelatinous cube, there are a few other exotic creatures audiences can expect to see in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. This includes the displacer beast, a large predatory feline, and mimic, a shape-shifting creature that usually takes the form of a treasure chest to trick unsuspecting players. All these exotic creatures and more are expected to show up when Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves releases in theaters on March 31.
