“My passion for blood donation is motivated daily by the positive role I play in saving lives. I’m indirectly playing a role in giving people a second chance in life so that they can spend many more years with their families.”
The Vaal resident studied public relations management through Unisa and started working at SANBS in March 2016 as a tele-recruiter for the Boksburg branch. In August 2019, he returned to being a donor recruiter for the Vereeniging branch before returning to the Boksburg branch this year as a donor relations practitioner.“I look forward to having good working relations with the Boksburg community and other stakeholders in the East Rand area.
“The goal is to have four permanent mobile teams go out daily as currently, we have three permanent teams and one contract team. We are working hard and smart to grow the branch.”
