Wilkerson said Johnson was arrested after someone came forward claiming to have talked with him about the murders. “I think at this point, we certainly set out the case to have his bail denied,” said George Huffman, Jackson County assistant district attorney. “And the judge agreed with us on that,” “Drexler Johnson was bound over to the grand jury today for the crime of accessory after the fact,” said Jackson County District Attorney Angel Meyers McIlrath. “The judge found that he was a danger to society and denied bond.”
