KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia recorded foreign direct investment (FDI) net inflows of RM40.4 billion in 2023 from RM75.4 billion the previous year, says the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).
IPOH : There will be a new daily express train service between Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh that only takes about two hours.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd chief operations officer Mohd Zain Mat Taha said the new service will start in August this year."We will have a service that will only take two hours," he said in a press conference here at the Ipoh railway station here on Wednesday . He had said this after the launch of a promotional event to promote Ipoh's products and tourist destinations by city mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin.
"There are no additional trips but we are waiting for new train sets," he said, adding that the number of trips between Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh remains at 32.
