"It's important for the Obamas to start playing a more active role in Biden's campaign," Lederman said, adding that the initiative is intended to"create buzz" to encourage their participation. The former vice president says he has a list of more than a dozen names he is considering for his second-in-command. Speculation has largely been molded by Biden's frequent and candid public comments, and he has already been subjected to lobbying from prominent backers of the former vice president.
