Crossover will also alter its usual Wednesday-night order to support the storyline. Instead of following its usual lineup, the evening will open with Chicago Fire at 8 p.m. It will be followed by Chicago Med at 9 p.m., before concluding with Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m. The crossover will be sparked by an aviation emergency that quickly grows into a broader threat to public safety.
