David Edmonds has now been missing for more than a week
Police have released a new CCTV picture of a missing 55-year-old man from Wigan as desperate searches to find him continue.
Since his disappearance more than a week ago, major searches have been carried out in Platt Bridge and the surrounding areas with 'multiple specialist resources deployed'. Last night , officers issued a fresh appeal for the public's help to try and trace David.This morning, a new CCTV image of him was released as part of the appeal.
David was last seen wearing a black puffer-style jacket with a hood, as well as dark-blue trainers. He may have also been earing grey tracksuit bottoms, police said.
