Longtime Wiregrass cardiologist Dr. David Gayle has joined the Flowers Medical Group, Flowers Hospital announced Monday. Gayle is board certified, and fellowship trained in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and has more than 30 years of experience caring for patients in the Wiregrass with a range of heart conditions, said Flowers Hospital Director of Marketing Emily Darnell.
Gayle comes to Flowers Medical Group from Fairview Clinic in Dothan and also spent many years caring for patients at Dothan Specialty Clinic. He completed his medical education, internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his fellowship at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., Darnell said. Gayle and nurse practitioners Magan Parker and Chelsi Miller are accepting new patients at Flowers Medical Group-Cardiology located at 210 Westside Drive in Dothan.
