The New Brockton High School football player who died after collapsing at practice on Tuesday has been identified, WTYV reported on Wednesday.
Ben Thomas | [email protected] athlete was identified as 14-year-old Semaj Wilkins, Coffee County coroner Arnold Woodham told the station. He was a freshman at New Brockton High School.
Heath Harmon, executive director of the Alabama High School Athletic Association, had a moment of silence honoring Wilkins prior to the AHSAA Media Day in Montgomery.
