The 30 minute one-act Broadway-style musical is based on a gag in the first episode of “Hawkeye,” the Disney+ show that puts at the center of the action. In the first episode, he takes his kids to “Rogers: the Musical” on Broadway, to find a campy collection of Avengers singing and dancing about defeating the Chitauri on the streets of New York.“Honey, I know what happens, I was there,” he says. “You know who wasn’t there,” he gestures to Ant-Man, “is that guy.”
