A recent audit of SANDAG revealed $ millions moved around for vendor contracts post-bid. Some contractors received up to 700% more than they were initially awarded. Where is the honesty and responsibility when spending San Diego's money More info:

SAN DIEGO – The little trust San Diego had in the leaders that compose SANDAG is once again waning following another audit of the leadership’s spending that revealed millions of additional dollars allotted to contractors after their bids were set.

SANDAG has been grilled by citizens before for hundreds of thousands spend on restaurants, and hundreds of thousands spent on non-working days. Previous audits have not left San Diegans with much faith, and this recent audit may prove the last straw for many leading to upcoming elections.
