Cartoon Network Studios' Adventure Time: Side Quests has secured a release date for late June on Disney+ and Hulu.
. The new Adventure Time TV show is a spin-off following a young Finn and Jake the Dog. Along with a release date, fans can also take a peek at the show with its first poster.
Adventure Time: Side Quests is made for both new and familiar audiences, focusing on standalone stories set in the world of Ooo. The show isAdventure Time: Side Quests will premiere on June 28, 2026, on Disney+ and Hulu. The show is being described as a companion piece to the original, expanding on its lore without alienating new viewers. The cast includes Sasha Knight voicing Finn and John DiMaggio playing Jake the Dog.
Fan-favourite characters like Ice King , Princess Bubblegum , Marceline , and BMO will also return.
“Making Side Quests felt like making the original Adventure Time, which felt like hanging out with art school buddies making professional cartoons,” said Nate Cash, showrunner and executive producer of Side Quests. “That sounds like a big sandwich of feelings, and it was! You’re going to love these NEW adventures with Finn & Jake! ” While Nate Cash serves as the showrunner and executive producer, Darrick Bachman will serve as the show’s Story Editor.
It’s directed by Victor Courtright and Niki Yang, with Nick Cross as the Art Director, and Matthew Janszen handling composition. With extensive knowledge of India’s games and film industries, Rahul also keeps up with global pop culture, with a particular interest in everything around the world of superheroes. When not pondering about cinematic universes, Rahul likes tinkering with his PC to maximise his immersion in AAA games.
