A HUGE new outdoor swimming pool is opening next summer, with water play areas, sun loungers and space for events throughout the year.A new heated outdoor swimming pool is to open in YorkshireThe lido will be 25 metres by 37 metres, making it big enough for events such as competitive swimming and kayak polo contests.
There will be a water play area for kids with fountains, sunbathing areas and also a grass areas for picnics.The Albert Avenue lido was one a popular spot, but closed more than 30 years ago - the new lido hopes to open by summer 2023.
