That's how she and her husband decided on the name of the new subdivision, Delaney Heights, which is named both after themselves and the eclectic Houston Heights.While the 12-home community is still under construction, one tiny home is up for grabs. It is centrally located at 1216 32nd Street just blocks from The Strand and the Seawall and is currently listed for $398,000 after it was recently reduced by $72,000.

When Delaney and her husband purchased the land they razed a pair of vacant, deteriorating duplexes that she said became a"hub" for crime and bad actors.
