Chinese automaker GWM plans to launch the new Tank 300 in South Africa, and it’s expected to retail from a starting price of R685,900., this was confirmed by the COO of Haval Motors South Africa, Conrad Groenewald, who added the top-spec variation would retail for aroundThe automaker is yet to reveal the 300’s official launch date but did say that it will be the first model in the new Tank range, with the larger Tank 500 “likely to follow early next year.
The Tank 300 will be on display to visitors this week at Nampo Harvest Day in Bothaville, Free State, alongside its siblings, the new EV Ora – the cheapest electric car in the country – and a limited-edition P-Series double cab.Features However, looking at Australia’s spec sheet to get an idea of what’s on offer reveals that the 4×4 SUV will come with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, a nine-speaker sound system, an electric driver seat, ambient lighting, automatic LED lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The second is a hybrid configuration that generates up to 258kW and 615Nm and connects to a nine-speed auto-box with full-time 4WD.
