'I thought, a week ago, Boehly was being too busy, according to certain Man United-linked factions.' Sjopinion10 aims subtle at Gary Neville following Todd Boehly criticism MUFC CFC
talkSPORT host Simon Jordan has teased Gary Neville over his criticism of Todd Boehly after the Chelsea owner hijacked Manchester United’s bid for Frenkie de Jong.a £72million fee with Barcelona earlier this summer, but De Jong stalled over the club’s lack of Champions League football and £17m worth of deferred wages still owed to him by the LaLiga side.
“He wouldn’t have had that pressure if he’d have kept the people that have been there before and just let them operate for a year or two.And ex-Crystal Palace owner Jordan believes it is ironic that Boehly’s supposed over-enthusiasm will help Chelsea get one over on Neville’s beloved United.Jordan told talkSPORT: “I thought, a week ago, Boehly was being too busy, according to certain Man United-linked factions.
And Jordan insists it will be embarrassing for United if they do end up missing out on De Jong to Chelsea. “Man United are in a position where they have got relationships with the people at these clubs. They should be able to find a solution, but Chelsea are at the table.
